At the time Hillary reached out to me with BCF I was in a very low point in my physical and mental health. I have struggled with my weight, self-esteem and my attitude towards food since childhood. I was very overweight until my college years at which point I started paying attention to my nutrition and fitness and thru the simple approach of healthy eating and exercise I was able to lose about 70lbs over the course of two years and for the most part, had kept it off until recently.

Over the past two years, I had been thru a great deal of personal struggle, medical issues, and was depressed. I had gained about 20 pounds in two years and was really at a mental and physical low. I can honestly say that Hillary reaching out was a lifeline for me and came at just the right time in my life.

My goals when starting my 90-day program with Hillary were initially focused on weight loss, increasing lean muscle mass and fat loss thru nutritional management and exercise as well as working on goal setting for OT classes (running, strength) and personal rock climbing goals. Not only did I meet my weight loss goals, but I also exceeded them in my 90-day program with Hillary.

I increased my lean body mass-gaining 1.5% more muscle, decreased my BMI and lost 3% body fat, lowered my heart rate, and dropped multiple pant/dress sizes-lost 5.5 inches from my waist, 3.5 from my hips and 3.5 from my chest.

I saw an amazing transformation of my body but more importantly, Hillary helped me change my MINDSET which has made all the difference in the world and has set me up for success long term. Hillary gave me the tools I needed to practice being my best self every day, to put what I want MOST always ahead of what I want at the moment. Thru daily practices of affirmation, gratitude, and reflection Hillary gave me the tools to help me love myself again – unconditionally. I have realized that this is an EVERYDAY practice and I make time for myself, my mind, my body, and my heart every day now and it has made all the difference.

Hillary’s coaching helped me start keeping the promises I make not only to myself but to others in my life. As I became more comfortable and proud of my body and mind my relationships with others became to open up and deepen. She helped me see that the relationship that you have with yourself sets the tone for EVERY OTHER relationship in your life. Once I started to love myself again, and see myself as a beautiful, strong, and worthy woman I became more open and engaged with those around me and allowed them to love me as well. She showed me that long term change comes from sacrifice, effort, and discipline. By the end of the 90 days what once seemed impossible seemed easy. I no longer craved low energy food, I no longer reached for alcohol or food for comfort to manage my emotions. I woke up every day not feeling guilt, shame, regret, or hopelessness but feeling happy as my primary emotion, feeling energized and excited about the day and all it’s possibilities. I am forever grateful for the tools that Hillary has given me to make the rest of my life the best of my life.

I can go into my closet now and know anything can fit, I’m happier, I drink way more water, and I eat more high-energy foods than I ever have.
I used to think of food as bad or good, and got depressed when I ate badly. But now I think of them as high- and low-energy, and think about what I want for my body each day. I no longer get down on myself if I want wine or something indulgent. I let myself have them, and plan for them each week so I’m able to plan for the rest of my week in a smart way.
The other thing I learned is how big of an effect water and sleep has on my body. I learned how important they are, and understanding that helped me change my bad habits.

Also, being accountable to someone each week helped me make better choices and kept me on track. I do recommend this program to all my friends whenever they ask about my results! It’s great because you have someone to talk to 24/7, someone to help guide you if you’re not sure how to stay on track if you go on vacation, or if you have a lot of social gatherings to go to, and it’s convenient because you can do it all with your phone! You don’t have to travel anywhere for appointments, you set your schedule around what works for you.

I learned a lot about my body and despite not losing the “weight” I still dropped significant volume in inches.
